Place the grater on a clean, smooth, flat, non-porous countertop and turn the lever to lock the rubber base. Check it holds before you start grating.
Will it stick to all countertops?
The House of Prep Rotary Grater locks securely onto clean, smooth and non-porous countertops. Uneven, heavily textured or dusty surfaces may not seal. Wipe the area first, then test the lock before you start.
What can I grate or slice with it?
Use the drums for cheese and firm vegetables such as carrots, zucchini, radishes and potatoes. Cut ingredients to fit the opening and always use the pusher. Very soft foods will not grate cleanly.
Is it easy to assemble?
Yes. Fit the drum, attach the handle, add the pusher, then lock the suction base. Most people are ready for the first turn in under a minute.
Is it dishwasher safe?
The stainless-steel drums are dishwasher-safe on the top rack. Hand wash the plastic barrel, pusher and body. Dry before storing, and avoid touching the cutting edges.
